E-commerce awards open to public judging

Jump Shopping has selected a shortlist of nominees for the 2008 South African E-Commerce Awards and is calling on the public to vote for winners.

Voting is now open to the public after which the judges will have their say. Votes from the judges will count 51% while the public vote will count 49%.
This year's judges are Albert Bredenhann, Ferdie Bester, Arthur Goldstuck, Andy Hadfield, Henk Kleynhans and Charl Norman..
Voting is open to the public until 31 October 2008 and the winners will be announced on 10 November 2008.
Jump Shopping is an online shopping search engine. It started the awards in 2006 as part of its commitment to uplifting e-commerce in South Africa.
Some of last year's winners include Autostyle.co.za, BidorBuy.co.za, Kalahari.net and Webantics.co.za.
Awards are given in a number of catergories: auction site, automotive sites, online bookstores, clothing & accessories stores, computer stores, electronics stores, flowers & gifts, food and wine, games, health & beauty, jewellery, home & garden, kids & baby stores, music, photographic, sports, property, travel booking, e-commerce enablers and e-commerce web sites.
