The Huge Group has announced a 25% increase in revenue for the six months ended 31 August, with profit at 22,2%. Operating company Huge Telecom has been especially successful, having increased its share of the celluarl least cost routing services market from 18% to 20,5%.
The group achieved n increase in headline gross profit margins maintained from 22,2% to 23.8%, with operating profit margins before tax up from 10,35%, for the 12 months to 29 February, to 14,24% for the six months to 31 August.
Earnings per share and headline earnings per share are 26,18 cents, while cash flow from operations is at R19,5-million.
During the period, Huge Group bought 25% plus 1 share in Eyeballs Mobile Advertising.
Among appointments were Don Tredoux, the previous co-founder of Orion Telecom as a non-executive director, Kenneth Jarvis, the previous CIO of the South African Revenue Service, as a non-executive director, Amil De Moura as CIO of Huge Telecom, Eugene Volschenk as regional director of Huge Telecom Gauteng, Phillip Stier as regional director of Huge Telecom Cape, Geovanna Sutherland as regional director of Huge Telecom KZN and Justin Hammett as regional director of Huge Telecom Eastern Cape.
