Spectrum Multimedia has launched the Buffalo LinkTheatre HD Nfiniti wireless media player that streams multimedia ontent from any network or connected DLNA, NAS, PC, USB device directly to a TV.

The LinkTheatre is suitable for high-definition video cameras users and those wanting to watch HD films, high-resolution photos and music. Media files can be streamed through the device from a number of sources, including a Buffalo _inkStation Live and TeraStation Live storage devices, or other DLNA1-certified NAS devices.
An intuitive TV-based interface lets consumers easily browse media content on the connected devices via a remote control. Users can also open network shares directly from the device to facilitate easy file sharing. The player enables photos to be viewed in a slideshow and allows playback of several short movies in a row.
Using USB hard drives and the direct back-up function, the contents from a camcorder or a camera can be stored into the USB hard drives without using a PC.
The unit supports Windows DRM10 rights protection, playing WMV and WMA files purchased from online stores.  Using a remote control and user interface displayed on the TV screen, users can find and playback the contents direct to TV.
The device supports MPEG2, H.264, WMV9 and MPEG4 (Standard Definition only), both AVCHD and HDV formats are supported for HD camcorders.  sers are able to playback these formats on a TV via HDMI or Composite (SCART adopter
attached).
