Mark Perry, head of Hewlett-Packard SA's channel organisation or SPO, has become the latest executive to resign from the company.
He has been replaced as head of SPO by HP veteran Thibault Dousson.
Perry's resignation from the company follows that of HP SA MD, Thoko Mokgosi-Mwantembe, as well as other middle management such as Robbie Johnson and Trish Simpson.
But Perry says nothing sinister should be read into his leaving.
"The timing was right – it was at the end of the financial year," he says. "As you know, the position was a pretty hectic one and I simply took the decision to slow down a little bit and do some of my own innovative things.
"But right now, I'm sitting at the driving range," he adds.
