SecureData this afternoon confirmed that COO and director, Brett Parker, has resigned from the company with immediate effect following what it calls "an amicable settlement between the involved parties."

Parker was suspended on 23 January pending a disciplinary hearing. To date, both the company and Parker have been silent over the reason for his suspension, leading to some wild speculation within the industry.
Tony Nutter, who took over as interim MD of the SecureData Africa division in the wake of Parker's suspension, has now been officially appointed to this position.
