iBurst has added WiFi to its suite of value-added services, giving subscribers to have reliable Internet access worldwide.

When within range of a WiFi Hotspot, iBurst customers can access the network using a WiFi-enabled laptop, phone or PDA.
According to Alan Knott-Craig, MD of iBurst: "Realising that every job is not office-bound we decided to extend this service to customers looking to check their mail on the move without having to pull out their credit cards or carry around their modems."
Some of the multiple benefits of iBurst Wi-Fi include the fact that no fixed-lines or plugs-ins are required. iBurst subscribers have access to over 650 local and 110 000 international Hotspots situated at public venues like airports, coffee shops, conference centres and hotels. Data can be managed easily and reliably and no additional contract or subscription is required to access the service.
"In particular, users will find the flat rate for international roaming appealing as it means no surprise bills when returning home. It also means you can access information wherever you go and stay in touch with loved ones while traveling," Knott-Craig says.
Cost will be about R0.68 per Mb locally and R1.50 per minute internationally.
