Apple Computer is being sued by a Taiwanese company over its touchscreen technology.

Elan Microelectronics is accusing Apple of ingringing two of its touch-screen patents, according to a report in the New York Times.
Apparently, the two companies have been engaged in talks about licencing the technology for the last two years, but these appear to have broken down.
Elan alleges that the touchscreen technology used in Apple's MacBook, iPhone and iPod Touch infringe its own "multi-touch" patents.
