Telkom has delayed its Vodacom R22,5-billion unbundling from 8 May to 19 May because, it says in a statement, there has been a delay in fulfilment of certain conditions. Meanwhile, it is facing a legal challenge from the Communication Workers Union, which says it wasn't consulted about the sale of 15% of Vodacom to Vodafone.

According to Telkom, the unbundling finalisation date is now set for 8 May, the last day on which to trade in Telkom shares is 15 May, and the final unbundling and listing of Vodacom on the JSE on 18 May.
The CWU application for an interdict is due to be heard in court tomorrow (Tuesday 21 April).
