Pegasus Mpower has won a significant upgrade contract in Lesotho with the Water & Sewerage Authority.
After an extensive business analysis by the World Bank and the usual tender process the contract was awarded to TJ Lester Consulting, one of Pegasus Mpower’s resellers.
The contract saw the Water & Sewerage Authority upgrading to the latest version of Opera II business software, a software package which offers clients more than 16 modules, including a complete enterprise software offering.
The total value of the deal was just over a R1-million, with the Water and Sewerage Authority upgrading to an SQL-based IT system with 30 users.
John Wilson, MD of Pegasus Mpower, says the Water & Sewerage Authority in Lesotho is to fund the upgrade via a loan from the World Bank.
Pegasus Mpower is active in a number of African countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda and Senegal.
