Microsoft has awarded Comztek the rights to distribute OEM products into a host of additional African countries including Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia.

The agreement, which is an expansion of the authorised territory for Microsoft OEM Distributor Channel Agreement, increases the Comztek African territory significantly and allows the company to order into, and distribute Microsoft products in the region on behalf of the vendor. The announcement, and addition of the six new territories, falls in line with Comztek's own stated African expansion strategy.
The Comztek territory for Microsoft distribution is now comprised of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Eritrea, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zambia.
As a result of the announcement, Comztek is now the only distributor in East and Southern Africa to hold full distribution rights for all Microsoft business lines in the region.
