Speculation is once again rife about the health of Apple founder Steve Jobs, who didn't turn up for a local council meeting – apparently because he was too sick to do so.

Apple recently announced that Jobs was ready to come back to work in two months time, after taking six months' sick leave to recover from a hormone imbalance that had left him thin and ill.
The council meeting was about a mansion Jobs owns and wants to demolish, but which the council wants restored and perserved.
Apparently Jobs' lawyer told the council Jobs was not strong enough to attend the meeting, which could have run over into the evening.
