Netsurit, South Africa's largest managed outsourcing IT provider specialising in small to medium enterprises (SMEs), has announced a strategic partnership with Cost Concepts, a consultancy that identifies and implements cost reduction opportunities in a variety of business overheads.
Orrin Klopper, CEO of Netsurit, says a key consideration underpinning the decision was the extremely attractive and innovative offering to its customers, which has a proven track record of producing long term savings.
"When we engage with our clients we always look to technology solutions that can have a direct impact on their bottom line. Similarly, Cost Concepts focuses on areas of routine business expenditure that many businesses today generally tend to neglect.
"The company has been providing services to Netsurit to reduce its own running costs and I felt it was a logical step to extend this symbiotic relationship to our clients as well," he says.
Rozlyn Ahier, MD of Cost Concepts, says it is exciting times for the company she founded less than three years ago, when she identified a gap in the market for alternative sourcing of products and services to reduce organisations' operational spend.
"The performance-based partnership will give us the scalability we require and will dramatically grow our brand as we benefit from Netsurit's 12 years of experience in reducing operational costs for SME businesses.
"Today's volatile economic conditions and fierce competition demand that businesses look at areas where they can cut costs and any business should have an objective to keep their costs lean, which is our specialty," she says.
Recently, Ahier says Cost Concepts carried out a thorough analysis of the telecommunication, utility and stationery costs for Hewitson & Kontominas Financial Consultants. Annual savings of R46 145.85 were identified (a 35% saving). In addition, a refund from the City of Johannesburg for R62 700 was identified, with the majority being for previous over-billings.
