Bytes Systems Integration (SI) has has achieved NetApp Authorised Professional Service Partner (APSP) status. Furthermore this achievement enhances Bytes' value proposition and enables the company to drive forward further successes by now selling and delivering professional services to complement NetApp products and solutions.

The new authorisation enables Bytes to deliver end-to-end service for NetApp technologies from pre-sales and hardware delivery through to full implementation and  integration; thus providing Bytes with a straightforward engagement methodology and a single point of management.
"This is a tremendous achievement for the team and the consultants who have worked hard to achieve this recognition," says Mike Broderick, divisional director at Bytes Systems Integration, Storage business unit. "Bytes consultants have successfully completed the same extensive training required for NetApp Global Services personnel. They also have access to the same best-in-class tools and methodologies used by NetApp professional services.
"The decision of NetApp to award Authorised Professional Service Partner status reflects the value that vendors gain from partnering with Bytes to distribute specialist and professional services to customers."
"As a result of this enhanced partnership with Bytes and the availability of additional high quality authorised engineers, existing and new customers will benefit from the optimum delivery of the unique NetApp data management and storage solutions," says Matthew Barker, channel manager: South Africa at NetApp. "Together we will enable Bytes to offer customers simple, efficient, flexible and cost-effective ways to optimize and secure the storage and access of data.
"This also means that Bytes can now support complementary cross-vendor projects, extending their sales and delivery capabilities beyond primary storage to encompass server, virtualisation and Microsoft technologies to name but a few."
