A movie about the rise Facebook could soon makes its debut on the big screen.

According to media reports, director David Fincher is negotiating with Columbia Pictures to capture the life of the site in a movie.
Daily Variety writes that The Social Network has been scripted by Aaron Sorkin.
The movie will apparently follow the history of Facebook from its creation in 2004 into a global phenomenon with 200-million members.
The script is said to be based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook" by Ben Mezrich, set for publication in July.
