Office automation and document solutions company NRG Gestetner South Africa has changed its name to Ricoh South Africa (Pty) Ltd.

The name change forms part of the Ricoh Group’s plan to rebrand its direct operations across all subsidiaries and supports the company’s drive to raise brand awareness in EMEA.
Richard Pinker, MD of Gestetner South Africa, says: “We are presenting a consistent face of our global brand to the market. The name change demonstrates Ricoh’s commitment to the South African market. It is a part of the overall brand strategy outlined in the three-year marketing plan, to raise awareness of the brand.
"The international network will continue to allow us access to best practices, research and development,” adds Pinker.
Jim Potter, vice-president of Ricoh Europe, adds: “It is an exciting time for Ricoh as we realise our plan to extend the Ricoh brand across subsidiaries globally. The rebranding to Ricoh is in line with our goal to enhance consistency across the group and support the company’s drive to raise brand awareness in EMEA."
