Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has extended its Dell offering to the channel with the addition of Dell's commercial Optiplex desktop offering and Latitude notebook range.

This appointment effectively sees DCC taking responsibility for Dell's entire PC and notebook product offering as the company already distributes the small medium business (SMB) and consumer family range as well as the full enterprise and storage offering.
As a result of the appointment DCC will also, with immediate effect, be holding all commercial stock which will undoubtedly benefit Dell resellers as products will be readily available to their clients.
Mandy Porter, Dell business unit manager at DCC, comments: "Often, competitive products do better in the marketplace due to their high availability.  Now, however, our resellers can be rest assured that Dell's commercial product offering is immediately available which will be an important differentiator in a competitive marketplace.
"We also believe the appointment is indicative of the success we've had with Dell's SMB and consumer-focused products.  With the commercial range we now offer the full complement of Dell desktops and notebooks which allows us to extend our reach."
Sandra Roussos, field marketing manager at Dell Southern Africa, adds: "Dell is pleased to extend its partnership with DCC with the introduction of the OptiPlex desktops and Latitude notebook range to DCC's Dell product offering. As a valuable partner, the next step for us was to grow our product offering through DCC. Over the past year, DCC has proven itself to be an asset to our company and a formidable partner to be the face of Dell to our clients."
Dell's Latitude and Optiplex products are aimed at the medium to larger corporate segments of the market and feature the latest in desktop and notebook innovation tailored to this marketplace.
