First National Bank’s (FNB) internet service provider, FNB Connect, is offering free bandwidth to Facebook and Twitter for all FNB Connect data customers.
FNB Connect was voted the best ISP for Customer Service and Billing in the 2009 MyBroadband survey.
With immediate effect, FNB Connect Surf data account users be able to surf Facebook, Twitter and all FNB web sites for free between 7pm and 11pm, seven days a week, without incurring data costs.
The offer runs until the end of December 2009.
“Since our launch in May this year, we’ve listened to our customers as part of our brand promise of helpfulness and this is a gesture to reward them,” says Carmen Roux, CEO of FNB Connect.
“Social media sites have grown exponentially over the past few years. There are more than 1,7-million unique South African users on Facebook with a growth rate of 96% over the past year. By offering free bandwidth to popular social media sites we believe that South Africans will find this offer socially stimulating."
