Hip teenagers in Japan are hooked on mobile novels – or m-novels, as they call them – and now the concept has debuted in South Africa as well.
m4Lit is offering Kontax by Sam Wilson, the first ever m-novel in Africa that offers both an English and isiXhosa version.
Kontax is made for mobile and users can access it via their WAP-enabled cellphones or their computers.
Every day a new chapter in the mystery plot is told, with 21 chapters unfolding over 21 days.
But don't just get to read the story – they can vote about events in the story, have their say and post comments, download wallpapers and share with your friends.
