Derek Wilcocks has been appointed as MD of Internet Solutions, succeeding Angus MacRobert who has resigned from the company for personal reasons.

Wilcocks is not new to Internet Solutions, havnig joined the group in 1995 as founding MD of IS subsidiary Trusted Network Solutions. He joined Internet Solutions a year later, (1996), becoming a board member and holding a number of executive positions during his six years with the company; including the post of MD from 1998 to 2001.
In 2001, Willcocks joined the Dimension Data brand as executive for strategy & technology, and was a key figure in steering Dimension Data Middle East & Africa through the 2002/03 ICT sector downturn, and also in developing and executing the group’s growth strategy post this period, which has delivered five years of year on year growth. He assumed the position of services executive for the Middle East & Africa region in 2006, and has been instrumental in growing a successful annuity and managed services business model for Dimension Data.
