Microsoft is to lay off a further 800 employees, on top of the 5 000 it let go in January.

The new round of job cuts will take place around the world, but the company didn't reveal any information about specific jobs or product groups would be affected.
Of the 5 000 job losses that were announced earlier this year, most have already left Microsoft.
This was the first time the software giant had experienced such a widespread job cut programme.
About 92 000 people work for Microsoft around the world.
