Vigin Galactic, Richard Branson's space tourism venture, will unveil a new spacecraft today which could start ferrying space tourists within two years – at a cost of $200 000.00 each.

SpaceShipTwo (SS2) will be shown for the first time today in the Mojave desert in the US. It will start test flights next year and is expected to be ready to carry tourists in 2011 or 2012.
Designed by Burt Rutan, SS2 will be able to carry six passengers and two pilots.
And seats are already reserved, with about 300 people around the world having paid deposits to secure their places on the first suborbital flights.
