NetApp continues to deliver on its mid-sized enterprise initiative and unveils the next wave of channel enablement.

The company strives to make selling its products, solutions and services as easy as possible and has put in place a range of new and enhanced tools and marketing kits with Campaign Express, an update of the GetSuccessful program and KickStart Service Builder for service partners at its core.
The MSE market – companies with 100 to 1 000 employees – is important for NetApp and holds a range of business opportunities for its reselling partners. Today’s announcement follows the introduction of the FAS2040 storage system to the FAS2000 series, lowered entry prices for the hardware platform and corresponding software bundles in mid September this year.
“NetApp delivers again on its commitment to create the best partner experience and provide best-in-class technologies," says Matthew Barker, channel manager: South Africa at NetApp. “We support our channel selling partners with innovative tools, campaigns and enablement programs to help them pursue opportunities faster and more efficiently. Doing business with NetApp has never been as easy as it is today.”
NetApp has enhanced its partner enablement offering, including:
* Campaign Express – the efficient marketing tool dedicated to demand generation provides partners with a turnkey approach to developing and delivering their own marketing campaigns targeting storage and data management for VMware and/or Microsoft environments. The tool includes creation and execution of campaigns with built-in metrics and reporting to measure the results.
* GetSuccessful – a proven NetApp program to enable partners with know-how, proof points and the perfect solution for different requirements. It has now been enhanced to target the MSE market and its specific needs. So far, the focus is on Windows storage consolidation and the many possibilities to optimize Windows environments by applying NetApp storage efficiency technologies such as unified storage, snapshots, thin provisioning, deduplication and more. Live workshops held by NetApp distributors will complete the offering.
* KickStart Service Builder – a new educational program targeting service partners. The purpose is to accelerate partner delivery of professional services with their MSE customers. NetApp has a set up a series of videos on demand as well as an easy to use eBook-based guide for performing implementation procedures for the FAS2000 series, NetApp’s dedicated product family for the MSE market.
The MSE initiative launched in May 2008 throughout Europe along with the introduction of the Silver partner level in the NetApp Partner Program. The initiative is specifically designed for resellers addressing the data storage needs of the MSE market. In the first year and a half, NetApp has authorized more than 1,800 Silver-level partners dedicated to selling the FAS2000 series.
