Mustek has launched its new Mecer Xpression 2010 range of notebooks.
The range of notebooks features the recently-released Intel Calpella mobile processing platform running versions of Arrandale and Clarksfield Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The Core i processors provide accelerated performance, effortless multi-tasking, enhanced visual graphics, revolutionary power management and increased productivity. All Mecer Xpression 2010 models are pre-installed with upgradeable versions of the new Windows 7 Operating System.
Mustek is one of the first local assemblers to make a range of notebooks available with the new Intel Core i mobile processing technology.

The range comprises three models.
The Mecer Xpression 2010 W765C has an Intel Core i3 2.13GHz processor, 2Gb of RAM, a 320Gb hard drive and comes with Windows 7 Basic. It retails for a recommended R5 999.00.
At R7 499.00, the Mecer Xpression 2010 W765CU has an Intel Core i5 2.27GHz processor, 2Gb of RAM, a 320Gb hard drive and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium.
The Mecer Xpression 2010 M770CU comes with an Intel Core i7 1.60GHz processor, 4Gb of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and Windows 7 Professional, for a recommended retail price of R10 999.00.
