South Africa's international traffic is now expected to resume as normal on Friday, when it is hoped that ongoing issues with the SAT-3 undersea cable will be resolved.

The new target date for normalising restorable international traffic on to the primary SAT-3 path has been set for Friday 12 February and may cause some service interruptions.
To prepare the network for the restoration, power testing will take place on Thursday. Since it will take place in the early hours of the morning, it shouldn't have an appreciable effect on traffic.
