Bluekey Software Solutions, a local IT company and the fastest growing SAP Business One reseller in Africa, has announced a merger with business intelligence and information management specialist KSO to form a subsidiary of the Bluekey group, called Bluekey Predictive Intelligence.
The new company focuses on business intelligence and analytics; information management and processing; data warehousing and mining; reporting and KPI dashboards to small and medium sized enterprises in Africa.
This significantly broadens Bluekey’s scope, enabling the company to leverage KSO’s strong technical resources and expertise to extend specialist BI products and services to new and existing SAP Business One customers.
Bluekey Predictive Intelligence managing director Rigby Stott says: “By combining KSO and Bluekey, we are building a stronger, more resilient organisation that is able to offer a broader range of specialised services to clients. Both companies bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the partnership, enabling us to enhance our customers systems with a greater range of competencies and resources.
“This is considered to be a merger by addition, not subtraction, which means all of our employees, business partners and customers will be retained.”
Bluekey’s managing director, Paul Marketos, says that Bluekey Predictive Intelligence is a natural extension to Bluekey’s growing business.
“There is increasing interest in BI tools by smaller companies that want to maximise their investment in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and leverage their business information to improve decision making.
“Bluekey Predictive Intelligence specialises in QlikView, a business intelligence and information management application, ideally-suited to small and medium sized enterprises in terms of pricing and functionality; but it is also scalable to offer BI to larger organisations. It is also easily integrated with SAP Business One.
“With Bluekey Predictive Intelligence, SAP Business One customers have access to one of the most flexible BI tools currently available. The company has also developed template reports that will offer plug-and-play Qlikview analytics to make it simple for companies to get more out of their ERP systems.”
