Industry veteran Rob Abraham will become the new CEO of Bytes Technology Group (BTG), taking over from David Redshaw who is retiring from the position after 22 years of service to the Altron group.

Redshaw will assume chairmanship of the Bytes UK operations and will also continue to serve as a non-executive director on the Altron board.
Rob Abraham, currently MD of Bytes Document Solutions, takes on his new position on Monday (1 March 2010). He will also join the Altron Executive Committee.
Abraham has been with the Altron group for the past 12 years. After serving in various leadership positions throughout the group, he was appointed MD of Bytes Document Solutions in 2001.
He has extensive experience and knowledge of the ICT industry in South Africa and the rest of Africa.
