Drive Control (DCC) has been awarded distribution rights for the full range of OKI printers, consumables and spares in South Africa and the SADC region.

The OKI range includes colour printers; multifunction printers; monochrome printers; serial impact dot matrix (SIDM) and line printers.
Linsay Narayanan, OKI product specialist at DCC, comments: "The distribution deal has enabled us to expand our current offering to our resellers, providing them with a wider selection of printers. Of particular significance is the fact that we will now be distributing dot matrix and line printers, a first for DCC. The addition of impact printers to our current offering will not only open up new opportunities for us, but will also allow our resellers to leverage these new markets
"All OKI printers carry a three-year warranty as standard, and OKI has 11 dedicated repair centres across South Africa, with several smaller independent repair centers also able to service these ranges. This ensures that businesses investing in the OKI range will have a high level of support and service available to them, something on which OKI has always placed great emphasis."
Neil Rom, MD of OKI SA, adds: "DCC has been a customer of OKI consumables for 15 years and is well-respected in the industry, so the deal is a natural fit. OKI recently conducted a survey among resellers and the results indicated that DCC is on their preferred list of distributors. Over the last six months, OKI has accelerated its market share, and is looking to take the brand to new markets and customers. The distribution deal will aid us in doing this."
