Interactive Intelligence is giving South African contact centre agents and managers a chance to win R10 000 through its newly-launched "Outrageous Interactions" contest.

To honour this profession, and to inject a bit of humour into the industry, we have come up with the idea to collect any outrageous, bizarre and crazy interactions agents and managers have had with a customer," says Dave Paulding, regional sales director for UK, Middle East and Africa at the company.
Interested call centre staff can go to the blog to submit their most insane interaction or email their story to The only personal information that will be displayed with their incident will be a name and area of operation.

The competition is open to South African call centre agents and managers only and the closing date for submissions is 30 July 2010. Reader comments on the blog entries will be the deciding factor in selecting the winner.
