The well-known SME Survey will be presented to industry at The Office on show, a lifestyle exhibition to be held at the Sandton Convention Centre between 27 and 29 October this year.

Since 2003,the SME Survey has served as the country’s barometer for SMEs, providing key findings and trends that will support the decisions they make in ensuring they remain competitive while offering valuable business information that will assist them in defining their future business strategies in South Africa.
“Each year the survey manages to get to the heart of the big business issues facing SMEs, providing a clear picture of what these companies are doing to address the challenges and opportunities the current business climate presents them with,” says principal researcher Arthur Goldstuck. “Our goal is to provide business owners with practical recommendations to follow, which ties in well with the concept of the Office on show, which itself is aiming to provide a view for all organisations on how to maximise their office environment.”
The research scope for SME Survey2010 includes pertinent business issues facing SMEs such as surviving the recession – SME recovery and growth strategies; telecoms impact on the SME; the impact of social networks and social media on the SME and carbon offsetting – providing a view on how green SMEs really are.
“SME Survey is one of the key events on the South African business calendar and we are ecstatic that the team has selected to use the Office on show, as its platform to release its latest findings,” says Linda Kruger, Exhibition Manager of the Office on show.  “I believe that the profile of the visitor to the Office is a perfect fit for SME Survey, and will provide significant value to both visitors and exhibitors to the show.”
The Office on show is organised by Tinted Ash Exhibitions & Promotions, and will provide visitors and exhibitors a dynamic and interactive experience to enjoy and showcase the latest office trends, from mobility, office automation, office administration and related technologies, as well as office equipment, VoIP and more.
