With immediate effect, Emma Murray has been appointed as the new country manager and Vice President Sales for Software AG South Africa.

Fred Brady, who previously held this position for approximately 15 months, has left to pursue personal interests.
Darren Roos, senior vice-president: Africa and Benelux, says: “Emma’s track record over four years at Software AG SA as Sales director Banking and Insurance has been impressive. In replacing Fred, we wanted to ensure continuity of customer service for our installed base and a continuing commitment to increasing the growth of Software AG in South Africa. Emma is perfectly positioned to carry the company forward to achieve this.”
The management team under Murray’s leadership at the South African office, and based in Lonehill, Johannesburg, now consists of  sales directors looking after the following portfolios: Paul Wilde – banking and insurance; Garth Meier – corporate; Ike Kunene –  public sector; Stephen Sim – director finance and operations; Diellie Schmutz – director global consulting services; and Dominique Zuma – director marketing.
