Acer Group has embarked on an aggressive drive to expand its reach in southern Africa by strengthening its ties with existing business partners at all levels and investing in its service and support infrastructure.

The Acer Group is seeking to cement its place as the top provider of mobile and stationery PC solutions in the region's professional and consumer markets, while expanding the rest of their product portfolio to the small and medium business (SMB) as well, as enterprise sectors.
The Acer Group remains 100% indirect, focused on partnerships with key distributors, resellers and retailers in all major markets in southern Africa. The full range of Acer products, including its new comprehensive range of the tablet computing and education solutions, is now easily available in all southern African countries.
Acer is leveraging its distribution model in South Africa to grow its business throughout the SADC region. Its South African distribution partners – Axiz, Tarsus and Mustek – are helping to drive growth of the Acer brand throughout Africa through their direct presences and partnerships in southern Africa and the rest of the continent.
In addition, Acer has appointed the following country-specific partners to serve the needs of its southern African customers: Stylus Sociedade Commercial  Limitada in Angola; Business Connexion in Namibia, IT4Africa in Botswana; Creative Computer Systems in Zimbabwe; DCC in Mozambique; Gestetner in Malawi; and Harel Mallac in Mauritius.
Customers can turn to any of these companies for warranty support and repairs, with the exception of Botswana customers who can get these services from Kalahari Associates.
