MWeb does it again with uncapped hosting

MWeb is shaking up the communications market up again, with the launch of uncapped hosting for just R19.00 a month. The news comes a year after MWeb first made headlines with the first uncapped ADSL service in South Africa.

“We are constantly looking for ways to provide consumers with a world-class online experience and, with our new uncapped hosting product, supported by uncapped ADSL, South Africans will be able to afford a convenient, easy to understand package to kick-start their business web site without the cost-related and admin-intensive concerns” says Carolyn Holgate, GM of MWeb Connect.
With its uncapped hosting offering, MWeb has taken all the elements needed for a web site and bundled them into one easy-to-use package. The fixed rate hosting bundle includes no limit to the amount of traffic to a web site no additional charges will be incurred, and uncapped storage space.
It also includes a free .co.za domain name and a personalised e-mail address with five additional aliases.
Users will receive a MySQL database which is easy to deploy and administer.
Sites will be locally hosted in data centres, so downloading will be quick for local visitors.
“We have always taken a strong stance in getting start-up businesses off the ground and assisting them in meeting their business technology needs from launch to growth phase,” says Holgate. “The beauty of uncapped hosting is that it establishes an online presence for your business or personal use that is both affordable and convenient.
“In addition, MWeb ADSL customers will get MWeb uncapped hosting for free for the first year.”
