It seems that mergers and acquisitions (M&As) are in the air, with bookmakers even offering odds on which high-tech organisations will be next to tie the knot.
Bookmaker.com has gone as far as giving odds on various likely and unlikely mergers that could take place before 30 April.
The favourite, according to a statement from the company, is a merger between HTC and Nokia, with a 40% likelihood, followed by Verizon and Sprint, with a 38% likelihood, as a close second.
The organisation will also give odds on a merger between HP and IBM, or one between Google and Qualcomm, although these are given a lower likelihood of happening.
The potential returns on these wagers range from 140% to 250% for the less likely scenarios.
