With crime being a constant concern in South Africa, the private security industry plays an enormous role in securing the commercial, residential and business sector. Security professionals, in particular those working for large organisations, have to remain at the top of their game when it comes to sourcing the most effective and innovative security technologies.

This is according to Ross Cullingworth, commercial events director, Montgomery Africa, organisers of IFSEC South Africa 2011.
Security professionals from all over Africa will descend on IFSEC South Africa 2011 (previously known as Securex) for the largest and most prestigious security event in Africa, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 6 to 8 September 2011.
Visitors from all disciplines within the security market can expect to engage with key decision makers, industry experts and top-tier security professionals at this premier security event.
The extensive IFSEC exhibition will be divided into six product area categories:
* Access control.
* CCTV.
* Intruder alarms.
* Integrated security/ IP and network security.
* Public security.
* Security solutions.
Typical of the IFSEC events, the extensive IFSEC 2011 seminar programme promises to feature a cutting edge, educational and informative line-up, showcasing the latest technologies that have been used in corporate environments.
Running alongside the IFSEC 2011 event will be the newly launched OSH Expo Africa, which will provide leading products, services and educational content to occupational safety and heath professionals.
In addition, the new Facilities Show Africa will also be co-located with the IFSEC and OSH Expo, providing visitors to any one of the three shows with free entry to the co-located exhibitions.
