Oracle E-Business Suite has been named a leader in Forrester Research’s March 2011 report, “The Forrester Wave: e-Procurement Solutions, Q1 2011.”

Forrester evaluated 11 vendors against 70 criteria, categorised into three main groups: current offering, strategy and market presence.
Based on Forrester's assessment, Oracle iProcurement, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1, received the highest possible score for its overall market presence and strong marks in key product evaluation areas, including reporting, technology, process configuration, goods purchasing and settlement.
According to the report, Oracle iProcurement is “a good and rapidly improving solution and has the best procurement-specific reporting and KPI analytics”.
In addition, Forrester also recognised Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise e-Procurement, describing it as a “good product in its own right, scoring consistently well with some best-in-class features such as support for unstructured collaboration with suppliers via its portal” and a “logical choice” for its ERP customers.
“Organisations around the world leverage Oracle’s procurement solutions to drive efficiencies, promote control, visibility and governance over spending,” says Paulo Back, VP, applications development, Oracle.
“We believe Forrester’s recognition of Oracle as a leader in this critical segment highlights the proven business value of Oracle iProcurement and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise e-Procurement.”
