Bytes Document Solutions, authorised Xerox distributor to 27 sub-Saharan countries, has appointed Annex Distribution as a Xerox office products equipment distributor.
The deal will see Annex roll the Xerox office products equipment range out to its extensive reseller base nationally.
“They are a perfect dovetail with our business and strategy,” says Peter Vieira, national channel manager of the Xerox division at Bytes Document Solutions. “Although we do a fair amount of channel and retail business, Annex operates in the open channel market and has been doing exceptionally well for many years. Annex has great reach and is complementary to our business.”
Annex Distribution is a channel-focused and established distributor of digital lifestyle technology, providing robust infrastructure and components to the sub-Saharan Africa market. It started trading as Electronic Building Elements (EBE), the sole technical distributor of Intel in southern Africa, 38 years ago, was since acquired by JSE-listed Altech and is currently a subsidiary of Sahara.
