Qeep turns to Android

Blue Lion Mobile is launching the Android version of its popular free app, qeep – which was previously only available for the mobile gaming and entertainment community on Java-compatible feature phones.

This follows a recent survey conducted by market research company ComScore, which shows that Android has taken top position in the US when it comes to market share of smartphones. In fact, it has experienced steady growth on a global level as well.
Qeep combines messaging and chat functions with many other interactive features such as live multi-player skill gaming, photoblogging, sound attacks and virtual gifting.
Counting more than 600-million mobile page impressions and over 2-million multi-player games every month, qeep has more than doubled its user base to 7-million in less than a year.
“We have accomplished a lot in the last three years,” says Christian Schulte, MD and co-founder of Blue Lion Mobile.
“Both qeep itself and our user base have significantly evolved, and continue to do so. As we have already been receiving many user requests from members of our online mobile community who are eager for an Android version of qeep, we anticipate further success with today’s launch and the future development of our messaging and gaming app.”
