XConnect Global CEO, Eli Katz, and SamsungTelecommunications Business Development Director Brian Burns, are among a number of high profile local and international speakers that will feature at Multisource’s TechNiche 2011 conference and open day.

The event will be held on Thursday, 12 May at The Forum in Johannesburg.
In addition to the focus on WiMax, Long Term Evolution and Interconnect 2.0, TechNiche 2011 will focus on the latest second generation all-outdoor microwave backhaul system.
With a major focus on the development WiMax and LTE systems in Africa, Brian Burns from Samsung will host a plenary session, focusing on the future of telecommunication.
Back by popular demand, Kathleen Rice, a director at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr in the firm's Ttchnology, media & telecommunications practice, will once again share her insights into the challenges facing the South African telecommunications, media and broadcasting regulatory environment.
Eli Katz will present an afternoon keynote session on the future of next generation networks, and Interconnect 2.0.
