Global leader in critical power and cooling services, APC by Schneider Electric, has appointed Stan van Rensburg as its service sales and operations manager for southern Africa.
Van Rensburg’s main focus will be on enhancing service levels to achieve the right level of customer satisfaction, promoting further sales of the APC by Schneider range of critical power and cooling offerings.
“Some of the initiatives to achieve this will be to bring the service offering in southern Africa more in line with the international best practices of Schneider Electric Critical Power and Cooling Services, but at the same time we will ensure that these practices fit into the southern African environment,” says Van Rensburg.
“The company will also be implementing a new incident management system to improve the tracking and planning of its resources and service workload, as well as enhance its relationships with its various service partners in southern Africa to ensure excellent customer service.”
Van Rensburg started his career 30 years ago, holds a demonstrated track record for team building and leadership and is committed to creating a customer centric environment whilst improving revenue performance and customer relationships.
He joins APC by Schneider Electric from Global Data Logistix, where he was employed as operations manager. Prior industry experience includes national service delivery management, regional sales management and account development in telecommunications and contact centre solutions.
He is also experienced in the national development and management of IT infrastructure support services, customer relationship management, rollout and field support for banking ATM and SST, retail POS, network, server and desktop support services, help desk, network availability, logistical support services, rework centre, project management, third party vendor management, OEM warranty services, and the support and development of ERP and telecommunications ISP business support systems.
