Montgomery Africa is excited to welcome Elvey Security Technologies as the Platinum Sponsor of IFSEC South Africa 2011, the premier showcase for security professionals in southern Africa.

“We’re extremely happy that the show is growing in both numbers and stature,” says Ross Cullingworth, director of sales and marketing for Montgomery Africa.
“We have no doubt that with Elvey on board as a Platinum Sponsor, the new-look show will have a greater impact for the security sector and increase the show’s prominence and profile in the African region.”
Formerly known as Securex, this year sees the show rebranded as IFSEC South Africa 2011, marking it as the largest security event in Africa when it is held at the Gallagher Convention in Midrand from 6 to 8 September 2011.
“We’re proud to be aligned with an international brand as successful as IFSEC and a host as acclaimed as Montgomery Africa,” comments Jack Edery, CEO of Elvey Security Technologies.
“This is a prestigious event that attracts the cream of the international security crop in terms of manufacturers, installers, distributors, system integrators and specifiers. In our opinion, this is an unsurpassed opportunity for visitors to explore the latest in technology and products.”
In the last 60 years, Elvey Security Technologies has become a market leader through its delivery of focused solutions and well-earned expertise in the field of integrated security technology.
“Elvey has always had a reputation for promoting the security industry as a whole, so we couldn’t ask for a better sponsor,” Cullingworth says. “As a brand, Elvey’s reach extends as far as the whole sub-Saharan Africa, which gives it particular gravitas for an event of this size.”
Serving the private sector, Elvey’s client base comprises of businesses that install electronic security equipment. Its core business offering therefore has clear synergy with the IFSEC exhibition’s six product area categories: access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, integrated security/IP and network security, public security and security solutions.
As part of this synergy, Montgomery Africa is looking forward to working closely with Elvey to form a powerful strategic alliance. “Our focus is on improving the show’s performance and attendance figures,” Cullingworth says. “As a host, it makes sense for us to align ourselves with the best in the business.”
For Elvey Security Technologies, IFSEC South Africa 2011 also presents an opportunity to promote industry role players and thought leaders. “It’s important to build meaningful relationships with both individuals and companies to strengthen the industry,” says Edery. “We feel a show like this will play a strategic role in bringing the security sector together.”
Furthermore, Edery believes the company’s support of the event will no doubt allow Elvey to explore a wide range of marketing and branding opportunities. “IFSEC South Africa 2011 will make it possible for us to reach an extended target market. For Elvey, it is clearly a win-win situation,” he concludes.
