“This is a strategic investment for Stratus, in a region of the world poised for high growth,” says Stratus president and CEO, David Laurello.

“The information technology business in the Middle East is forecast to significantly outpace other regions of the world. Establishing an official company presence in the country and region demonstrates an increased and continuing commitment to serving customers there.”

The company has sales and service centres in major cities around the world to support its customers and partners. Approximately 60% of the company’s annual revenue is generated outside the United States. Last year Stratus also opened offices in India and South Korea.
Stratus Technologies delivers the industry’s best products and services for uptime assurance of critical business applications. Its solutions are designed to prevent IT system downtime and data loss.
Two core markets are manufacturing operations and electronic payment processing, both having strong market potential in the Middle East. Other key industries include travel, transportation & logistics, financial services, banking, healthcare, and public safety.
