T-Systems is the official sponsor of the 11th annual Brightest Young Minds (BYM) Summit, an annual weeklong summit which endeavours to bring together more than a 100 of South Africa’s brightest young minds from diverse backgrounds across the country.
Held from 4 to 9 July 2011 at T-Systems’ head office in Midrand, Johannesburg, the summit provides a dynamic and energetic environment that will allow these selected “brightest young minds” to network, brainstorm and collaborate on new ventures and ideas.
The BYM Summit also serves as an entry in the BYM programme which was established in 2000 with the vision to create a platform that showcases South Africa‘s brightest young minds’ potential and fast track their development for the benefit of the country.
This year’s students have been recruited from universities across the country and as the main sponsor, T-Systems will have the opportunity to engage with them throughout summit period.
Mardia van der Walt-Korsten, MD of T-Systems in South Africa, will also be presenting the keynote address and Dr. Andrew Hutchison, Head of Process, Quality & IT at T-Systems will facilitate a four-hour workshop under the topic of “Our connected future”.
