The Notebook Company was the first to offer the iPad1 with a 3G data deal at R549.00, and now it is going to market with what is believed to be an industry first offer for the iPad2 with a 3G data deal.

The company says it is now offering iPad2s on 3G data deals at R499.00 a month over 36 months. The deal includes 175Mb per month, and can be increased for a nominal fee, says The Notebook Company's MD, Christopher Riley.
“We are continually trying to get the best deals for our clients, typically sourcing the best packages between Vodacom, MTN and Cell C.”
However, The Notebook Company continues to warning users against the potential dangers of opting for the non top-up route, where users run the risk of staring at “monumental bills” because they are effectively giving the cellular operators an “open cheque”, Riley warned.
“On these non top-up deals, users can end up receiving invoices running into thousands of rands. They must be careful when signing anything. Check the small print,” he concludes.
