The teenager UK police believe is the voice behind the hacking group Lulz Security, who was arrested last week, has been released on bail – but he’s not allowed Internet access.
Jake Davis, the 18-year-old believed to be Lulz’s “Topiary”, has been granted bail by a London court – on condition that he doesn’t go online.
Davis is also thought to be associated with the Anonymous group.
He has been charged with contributing to hacking attacks thought to have been carried out by Anonymous and Lulz Security.
These include attacks on Sony, a US television station, the FBI and News International.
Davis was arrested in the Shetlands, remote islands off the coast of Scotland.
