Oracle has announced that Deloitte has been named a Diamond level partner, the highest ranking available in Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) specialised programme.
The Diamond level status in OPN formally recognises Deloitte member firms’ breadth and depth of services across the entire stack of Oracle applications, Oracle fusion middleware and Oracle servers and storage.
Deloitte member firms throughout the world provide access to over 10 000 Oracle-focused practitioners, as well as to thousands of professionals with capabilities in tax, finance, human resources, risk and business consulting.
Deloitte’s unique blend of multi-disciplinary capabilities distinguishes it as one of the few professional service organisations that can provide an extensive, global perspective across the full spectrum of business issues faced by multinational enterprises.
As the Marquee sponsor of Oracle OpenWorld 2011, Deloitte’s achievement of Diamond status further demonstrates its strategic commitment to strengthening its relationship with Oracle and delivering business value to joint clients.
Deloitte member firms’ globally recognised Oracle practices have achieved 28 specialisations across Oracle applications, technology and hardware stack, spanning key Oracle product areas such as the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s JD Edwards, Oracle’s Siebel CRM, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft, and Oracle Business Intelligence Applications.
Deloitte also has five advanced specialisations in Oracle E-Business Suite Financial Management, Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain Management, Oracle’s Siebel CRM, Oracle Service-Oriented Architecture and Oracle’s PeopleSoft PeopleTools.
“Deloitte member firms have long been an important Oracle global service provider in the applications and technology marketplace,” says Andy Bailey, senior VP, strategic alliances, Oracle.
“It’s achievement of Diamond status reflects its ongoing commitment to covering the full breadth of the Oracle product portfolio, including its early focus on tapping the potential of the Oracle fusion applications and Oracle Exastack offerings to deliver increased value and efficiencies to joint customers around the globe.”
“Deloitte’s excellent relationship with Oracle has been a key factor in our ability to distinguish ourselves as a global leader and our Diamond achievement is another confirmation of our standing in the marketplace,” comments Nidal Haddad, global Oracle alliance leader, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
“Deloitte’s capabilities have been recognised by the numerous awards we’ve received for Deloitte member firms’ Oracle-related client work, and now the OPN specialised programme extends our qualifications even further by acknowledging particular skills and competencies at the highest level in OPN.”
