Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has announced it will sponsor the 3DMark 11 overclocking contest, started by Futuremark, with up to $1000 worth of prize money for high-speed, power and precision users.
This worldwide competition runs from 10 October to 07 November. The overclocking contest welcomes all kinds of PC platforms. ECS will not only award a contestant weekly for the highest score, and conduct a lucky draw, but the company will also hold an extra bonus draw for ECS products users and Facebook fans.
There are two ways to take big prizes home: via the weekly top score, or via the precision score draw. Overclockers using the 3DMark 11 performance preset to submit their highest scores stand a chance to win.
In addition to the weekly high score winner, another winner will be randomly chosen from the submitted scores ending in the numbers 99 or 75 each week. Precise numbers draw can be scored from any version of 3DMark with any available preset.
At the same time, ECS has prepared bonus rewards for loyal ECS users and Facebook fans. Overclockers stand a chance of winning an Pad2, or an ECS A990FXM-A or ECS A75F-A motherboard if they:
* Use ECS motherboards as their competition platform.
* Score top 10 in the 3DMark 11 overclocking contest.
* Become an ECS Facebook fan.
ECS also offers the chance for five lucky Facebook fans to become winners.
