- Ensure optimum availability and reliability of Shovel/Loader equipment in support of effective and continuously improved plant operations
- Specific Equipment experience/exposure:
- Cat 994
- Liebherr 996/9200
- Komatsu PC 4000/ 5500
- Epiroc Pit Viper 271, D65RC
- Sandvik DR 500
- Heavy Earth Moving equipment experience
- Extensive working /repair knowledge of production fleet vehicles
- Completed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training
- Working knowledge of all tools used to affect repairs
- Asset Management
- Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) Business Processes
- Condition Monitoring
- Relevant OEM Training
- Lubrication principles and application
- Hydraulic systems
- Drive train alignment
- Effective and accurate reporting
- Engineering Drawing Interpretation
- Plan work permits and organise resources (tools and equipment)
- First Aid (level 1)
- SHERQ standards and procedures
- Integrated Risk Management
- Risk Assessments
- Relevant COP’s and SOP’s
- Working knowledge of COP’s and SOP’s
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Trade Test Millwright
- N3 Engineering
- 2 years’ operational electrical/mechanical repairs on heavy equipment experience
- Driver’s license
- JDE User
