A large, national manufacturer is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their maintenance team and to execute daily planned maintenance and preventative routines in the factory. Requirements:
- Grade 12
- T4 or B.Tech Degree in Mechanical or Electrical is needed
- Min 5yrs maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Good understanding of Quality requirements in a manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily planned maintenance and preventative routines.
- Fault diagnosis and repairs to equipment
- Maintain machine process capabilities and daily maintenance reporting and housekeeping
- Implement concepts, plans, designs and proposals with regards to engineering solutions with particular reference to equipment, facilities, services, energy and processes
- Functional machines: ensuring high equipment reliability and availability through delivery of engineering solutions, root cause analysis etc.
- Drawings: able to interpret engineering, civil, flowcharts, P&ID and Gantt charts
- Artisans: provide advice, activities and manage performance
- Cost Management
- Health, Safety and Environment: Ensuring compliance to OSHACT and Company Safety and Environmental protocols
- Project co-ordination
