My client within the Insurance industry is seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Broker (Support) that will be responsible for providing technical broking skills and support to small and independent Brokers. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing, training and assisting IISS staff with structuring, negotiating terms and conditions, and policy administration.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Service Level Agreements.
- Provide Technical support to Brokers with quotes, policies, invoicing and reports.
- Correspondence with Brokers and Underwriters.
- Ensure policy migration to Acuideas platforms.
- Attend to clients with regards to queries, claim related issues and negotiations.
- Adhering to FAIS requirements.
- Knowledge of Insurance Acts and legalities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification.
- Higher Certificate in Insurance.
- Post matric qualification.
- RE 5 qualification.
- Experience in Commercial Lines – material damage, business interruption, broadform liability and commercial crime classes.
- Underwriting experience.
- Minimum 7 years Short-term Insurance experience.
- Working in a brokerage environment.
