Underwriter with Brokerage experience, specifically in Personal Lines Insurance, required for new and existing policy underwriting.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12
- FAIS compliant – Credits and/or full qualification essential
- RE5 essential
- Minimum 3 years personal lines short term insurance experience essential
- Strong administrative skills required
- Strong Excel skills essential
Responsibilities:
- New business underwriting – quotations, processing and issuing of policies
- Renewals
- Policy administration – amendments, endorsements, etc
- Business retention
- Raise premiums
- Insurer negotiation and liaison
- Portfolio analysis
